Tracks:
1. Lollapaloozalyrics

Dear all the Gods above
you are very well-thought-of
So I gave you all that I had
but I ended up in rehab

Oh my freakin’ gawd,
Why did you lock me in?
Oh my freakin’ gawd,
Yeah, I’m burning gasoline

La, la, lollapalooza
the way she moves
La, la, la, lollapalooza
how we’ve got no clue
La, la, lollapalooza
the way we work nine-to-five
La, la, la, lollapalooza
how we are still alive

It’s hard to walk straight on the street
after the smiles of deceit
Where is the glory of yesterday
that belonged to Pompey?

Oh my freakin’ gawd,
You’re so beautiful
Oh my freakin’ gawd,
You’re so disposable

La, la, lollapalooza
the way she moves
La, la, la, lollapalooza
how we’ve got no clue
La, la, lollapalooza
the way we work nine-to-five
La, la, la, lollapalooza
how we are still alive

Lollapalooza,
how crazy things are
Lollapalooza,
how crazy we are

La, la, lollapalooza
the way she moves
La, la, la, lollapalooza
how we’ve got no clue
La, la, lollapalooza
the way we work nine-to-five
La, la, la, lollapalooza
how we are still alive

2. Home Away From Home
lyrics
Afraid to let go
and start from below
Running red
headless bodies spread
The raging storm
keeps no bed safe and warm
Scream and pause
then plunge into the chaos

home away, away, away

I’m home away from home
welcoming headstones
that we all can own
on one fine day
I’m so far away from all
crumbling in a free fall
and you still smile at me
when you fall in decay

The shadow of death
walks on my door step
The end is near
but, don’t you cry, my dear
Just send your love
for those who lost enough
Dream a dream
that you never come back from your queen

home away, away, away

I’m home away from home
welcoming headstones
that we all can own
on one fine day
I’m so far away from all
crumbling in a free fall
and you still smile at me
when you fall in decay

Where is God’s aid for the falling star raid?
Singularity of all has failed
The train heading south has derailed

3. Panic Attack Avenue
lyrics
Unfortunately, all we’ve got will be on the loose
but I am more petrified by what’s not on news

Don’t you feel that sometimes you are so alone
even when you don’t take your thumbs off the phone?
You think that she is never here when she’s here
Is that why you’re flying into rage and fear

I wish I could tear down this wall in you
and we can breathe on this panic attack avenue

Run, run away from silence under pressure
and manufactured pleasure
Walk, walk away from invisible black hole
and free from the world’s control

Conveniently, shooting’s legitimized for all
Now everyone’s in power, but lonely survival
What difference does it make when no one’s around?
What is the good of it when no future’s found?

You know that our dream won’t come true
It’s buried under this panic attack avenue

Run, run away from silence under pressure
and manufactured pleasure
Walk, walk away from invisible black hole
and free from the world’s control

The world is so alone
and everyone’s on their own
We can’t avoid the setting sun
Freedom’s overdone

Run, run away from silence under pressure
and manufactured pleasure
Walk, walk away from invisible black hole
and free from the world’s control

4. Just a Little Show
lyrics
We rise and fall for the moments that shine
and the moments when we say good bye

Was I born just to die
after all this living low and hoping high?
It’s something that I would never, never know
but I’ll have to just let it go
It’s just a little show

For the night sky,
Do you see that there are too many lights and not enough stars?
For the piece of pie,
Do you see that there are too many fights and not enough bodyguards?

I can’t seem to find where I should stay
and I wonder that there’s no way
I feel like I am losing my sight
and I really don’t want to lose this fight

When I’m done with this little show
Please, someone let me know
how to find my way and take a bow
Cuz’ I just can’t stop here and now
It’s just a little show

When I’m done with this little show
Please, someone let me go
I’ll find my way and take a bow
Cuz’ I just can’t stop here and now

When I’m done with this little show
Please, someone let me go
I’ll find my way and take a bow
Cuz’ I just can’t stop here and now
for just a little show

Description:

9vol’s debut EP, 7 Things, references the capital vices, known as the 7 deadly sins from Christian ethics written in the 4th century, “These vices still link to us now, whether you are Christian or not, neuromarketing explains it all.” states Ejune.

“Once recording and mixing was all done, I was puzzled about the album title and questioned, what are the things that we respond to and control us the most right now? Because, as an artist, I wanted to project a clear image of who and where we are. In my notes, they were; food (gluttony), money (greed), sex (lust), violence (wrath), career (envy), information & technology (pride) and entertainment (sloth) – 7 things. By then, I realized that this is the same as the 7 deadly sins that take us back to the 4th century. I wanted to put these 7 things on the table, which became the album art. The 7 colours on the 7 letters in the album art signify each element in psychology. Expand for more

Nothing has changed since then, except how we voluntarily manipulate these elements in our societal movements. Look around us, and take a good, hard look at all the problems we face everyday! So called neuromarketing even reinforces the bond of 7 things in every business corner of the streets and our daily lives and makes it harder than ever for us to break free, just for the sake of three words – ‘Yes, I can’. What are we really celebrating for when we fail to redistribute the natural resources on our planet for the last 2000 years? Is that not what we are fighting each other for today?”
